Hello all - I'm very frustrated - thought this thing was supposed to be plug and play. Downloaded app, plugged in my Redeye Mini - it's not listed in "Rooms". So basically I can't configure anything. Volume settings are OK. Phone is only connected via WIFI to a network (old phone I'm converting into remote)...serial lot D0102 (not recalled). Have restarted my iPhone several times...
Did I get a defective device, is there something else wrong...should I just return it? Not sure what to do.
PS - troubleshooting documentation on this site stinks...
1. Make sure RedEye mini is toggled ON in the main setup menu of the RedEye application 2. Ensure that Volume Limit is OFF on your iOS device. This is different from regular headphone volume and must be accessed in your iOS device's settings. You can get to it by going to Settings -> iPod/Music -> Volume Limit 3. Ensure that your headphone volume is up all the way 4. If you have a case on your iPhone, please remove it and try again 5. If your Phone was purchased in Europe outside of the UK, the mini will not be compatible with that device. If this is the case let me know and I can explain further. 6. Is your iPhone a 3G, 3GS, or 4? The mini will not work with an iPhone first generation due to its recessed headphone jack.
Do you have any other iOS device you could try the mini with if these suggestions don't help?

RedEye mini is not supported in the EU. We do not sell to Germany from our website and our authorized sellers are instructed not to, as well. If you were somehow able to get a mini you will need to go through resolution with your seller. Apologies for any inconvenience.
