***EDIT: Our customers who applied this patch in Safari aren't seeing results. So, I recommend using a different browser to upload the patch. I'm not sure that this was actually the issue, but we'll be testing in the next few days to see.***
There are currently a few bugs in the browser App with 2.11.0, most noticeably that you cannot edit a control using a "script" action. We've created a patch file for this, which I've attached here.
Please note: Every patch file we've ever created is called patch.tgz, so if you already have a patch.tgz file downloaded please don't confuse them. Especially because one patch.tgz file will factory reset your unit. That would just be a shame.
1. Download the patch.tgz file attached.
2. Open up the browser app on your RedEye and navigate to the Maintenance page (within Setup). You can get here directly by adding /setup/maintenance.html to the main URL.
3. At the bottom of the Maintenance page, click on the "Upload Patch" link
4. Select the aforementioned patch.tgz file and click on the upload button.
After the upload is complete, your RedEye will reboot.
You will need to clear out your browser cache (or at least force-reload the layout page) in order to see the change.
