Is there an option somewhere to add RedEye app to the Android notification bar? Once I start the app (especially when listening to music), I often go back and change channels/activities/whatever. This would be much quicker than trying to find the App icon on home page and start from there.
Well you could do one of a few things, there are a few quick launch apps on the market that will allow you to assign an app to any of your devices hard button and or even the home button. On my kindle fire I used the Home button to take me back to the Redeye. Then with in the Redeye I have a page set up that launches any other app that I may want to use on the Fire.
I was actually referring to the icons at the top of the screen (where the time, battery level, notifications, etc). I have some apps (like LLama and Squeeze Commander) that keep icons there when the app is running to allow for access with a quick swipe down the screen. This way, I wouldn't lose any of my existing quick launch buttons.
I'm trying to use my cell as my primary remote since I always have it with me. I have a whole house audio system and am frequently changing stations/volume/etc. So just trying to get everything setup on the cell and not compromise all my other smartphone settings.
